Boss pleased with Thornton

Boss pleased with Thornton

Micky Adams is looking for Kevin Thornton to produce consistently the form he showed as a substitute for Coventry City in their 1-0 win at Hull on Saturday.

The young Irishman's arrival from the bench led to the Sky Blues' best spell of the game and culminated in his later winner.

'The boy doesn't lack confidence and has the ability to open up teams,' said Adams.

'He knows why he's not been playing but there has been a change in attitude towards his work.'
