League One familiar faces: Clinton Morrison?

Coventry City will come into contact with a number of old boys when they drop into League One next season and could be set to face their former striker Clinton Morrison.

A free agent after leaving Sheffield Wednesday, 33-year-old Morrison is training with Notts County and has expressed an interest in signing a deal with the Magpies.

Never one to hide his emotions when on the pitch and let his teammates know if they are not playing the right passes into him, Morrison nonetheless notched a decent 21 goals from 78 league starts during his two-season spell with the Sky Blues.

***Update***Morrison will stay in League One next season but with Colchester United and not Notts County having agreed a two-year deal on Monday.

"I'm a player who likes to be loved, and with a manager here who has been chasing me for about a year and a half, I think I will be loved," he said.
