Veteran international training with City

Experienced Republic of Ireland international Kevin Kilbane is training with Coventry City as the Sky Blues report back early for pre-season.

Now 35, the left-sided Kilbane is looking for a new club after the expiry of his Hull City contract.

His only appearances last season came in a loan spell with Derby County but Andy Thorn has spoken approvingly of the player's fitness.

Thorn meanwhile is hopeful of landing both attacking midfielder John Fleck as he looks to leave crisis-hit Rangers and an 'international' striker this week according to Monday's Coventry Telegraph.
