League One familiar faces: Dele Adebola?

Coventry City will come into contact with a number of old boys when they drop into League One next season including a potential tought test for their centre-halves against the powerhouse presence that is Dele Adebola.

Now 36 and a free agent after leaving Hull City, Adebola is interesting his former club Crewe Alexandra as they make the step up to a higher division. Adebola ended the 2011/12 season in League One on loan at Notts County as they fell just short of a play-off place.

After a slow start to his Coventry City career which saw him loaned out to Burnley and Bradford City, Adebola became a key man under Micky Adams, forming an attacking trio with Stern John and Gary McSheffrey that kept the Sky Blues up in the final season at Highfield Road and leading them to their highest Championship finish the following year.
