Early League One odds for 2012/13

Early League One odds for 2012/13

Bookmakers make Sheffield United the clear favourites to win League One next season after their heartbreaking play-off final defeat at the hands of Huddersfield Town.

Along with city rivals Wednesday and Charlton Athletic, the Blades were a cut above anyone else in the division in the 2011/12 regular season and will surely mount a strong challenge to go up automatically next season.

They are rated a best-priced 6/1 at this early stage.

Coventry City are rated a best-priced 12/1, strongly fancied to be in the mix come next May despite the financial uncertainty surrounding the club which at present means they are unable to make any new signings.

Having just dropped out of the division I think it will be wide open next season. There is no stand-out team at this early stage with all the relegated sides having plenty to sort out before the big kick-off.
