Coventry City's news agenda is usually set by either the club's official website or the local newspaper, the Coventry Telegraph.
An occasional story pops up from somewhere but the slide out of the Premier League, the decade-long stay in the Championship and now relegation into League One means CCFC are pretty much off the radar of other media outlets.
If you were of a mind to get all your Sky Blues news from the official website then a quick zip over the homepage on Wednesday would have you feeling pretty good.
Jordan Clarke is 'encouraged` to hear that Andy Thorn is looking at new signings, Carl Baker has 'pledged his future` to the club and Richard Keogh is to be offered a new contract in recognition of his sterling displays last season.
The Telegraph meanwhile leads with the headline 'Fears grow over Coventry City going bust as Cayman Islands link revealed`.
A pretty big difference and one indicates the continuing need for a strong local press to be able to call to account the people who run the local area and its big organisations.
The CT will always come in for criticism but getting to the heart of anything involving SISU is pretty difficult and, although the odd article asking 'whatever happened to Coventry City` will keep appearing elsewhere, even though falling circulations and cutbacks are affecting many local newspapers it remains are only real way of finding out anything other than the bland thoughts of the City players.
