'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sky Blues make trio of offers

Coventry City have made written contract offers to Martin Cranie and Clive Platt and will follow up talks with Richard Keogh's agent by making a formal offer in the next few days.

Talismanic defender Keogh has a year left on his current deal but is being linked with Championship sides Ipswich Town and Bristol City after an excellent season in the Sky Blues rearguard. Indeed a 'derisory' offer from Bristol has been turned down according to the club.

His defensive partner Cranie and veteran striker Platt are both set to be free agents this summer.

Andy Thorn told the official CCFC website: 'Rich is a first class professional and exactly the kind of player we want to keep at this club.'

He added on Cranie and Platt: 'Obviously I would like to keep them both.'
