Should Coventry Council buy the Sky Blues?

Writing his regular 'Midlander' piece in the Daily Mail, Neil Moxley has offered a radical suggestion to Coventry City Council as the interminable saga of the Sky Blues, SISU and the Ricoh Arena enters a new phase with the announcement of talks between all of the various parties.

He believes that by raising money to buy the club and the stadium, the council could eventually reap the benefits of a first-class facility housing a successful football team.

While I doubt very much that the council would buy the club they need to take a much more proactive role in things. Only by all the parties working together are we going to get out of this mess.
