'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Men against boys'

Speaking after the defeat at St.Mary's this afternoon a subdued Andy Thorn tried to look on the positive side after what has been a very difficult season and take inspiration from Southampton's revival following their own relegation to League One.

"What's happened to us, happened to them and we've got to try and be positive. Those are the levels you want to get to."

Thorn hopes to be able to freshen things up during the summer by bringing in new players and having by July 1st when the players report back having a group with a 'winning mentality'.

All eyes now turn to the next couple of weeks when SISU are expected to let Tim Fisher know what the budget will be for Andy Thorn in his task of rebuilding the playing side of the club.

Fingers crossed.
