Robins prepare for 'pivotal' weekend

Coventry City's well-timed resurgence in the Championship has heaped the pressure on Bristol City who slipped into the relegation zone on Saturday ahead of Easter weekend games against the Sky Blues and a Nottingham Forest side also looking to secure their safety in the division.

The Robins were held at home by Derby in their latest fixture and manager Derek McInnes was none too happy with his side's display.

He said: 'I felt we lacked drive all over the pitch and, whether that is (lack of) confidence or nerves, who knows?

'The players are honest and they acknowledge they can do better than that.'

McInnes will know how the Sky Blues have fared before his men face Forest in Saturday's late kick-off and admitted: 'We need to recognise that we have to get wins on board.

'We have six 90 minutes left to make sure we get enough wins.'
