Football League award for City youngster
Coventry City's 18-year-old midfielder Gael Bigirimana, a first-team regular at the beginning of the season, has been named the Apprentice of the Year at the Football League's 2012 Awards.
Although his appearances in the side have dried up of late, Bigirimana has shown more than enough to suggest a bright future in the game.
Academy boss Gregor Rioch called the player a 'shining example' to those looking to break into the senior set-up.
