Will home form keep the Sky Blues up?

Coventry City missed what many felt was their best opportunity to register a first away win of the season on Saturday when falling to two late Nottingham Forest goals in a relegation battle at the City Ground.

With time running out to get that elusive victory on the road, will the Sky Blues home form be enough to keep them up?

Seven games remain at the Ricoh Arena and given a best case/worst case scenario of winning every home game and losing every away game would give City a total of 46 points, enough to keep them up last season but not in 2009-10.

Andy Thorn's men still have to play six of their fellow bottom eight clubs so it remains all to play for, especially with Portsmouth's woes but if his side end the season with a zero in the away wins column it is hard to see anything other than League One next year.

Midfielder Carl Baker has been having his say about his side's travel sickness.

"We have gone into some away games and lost and you can hold your hands up but in games like that (versus Forest) we have got to be picking points up if we want to stay up," he told the Coventry Telegraph.

"It's as simple as that."
