Old Trafford loanee aims to make City impact
Having impressed for Scunthorpe United in the first half of the season new Coventry City loanee Oliver Norwood is now looking to make the step up to Championship level after completing a deadline day loan move from Manchester United.
The midfielder could go straight in to Andy Thorn's side for Saturday's game at home to Ipswich Town and told Sky Sports: 'This came about at around five o'clock on deadline day and I jumped at the chance to come here.
'It is up to me now to take the chance and prove I can play at this level and see where it takes me.
'I am very excited about coming here and it is a great chance for me.'
20-year-old Northern Ireland international Norwood made 18 appearances for Scunthorpe during his stay at Glanford Park.
Norwood's debut for his national side came as a substitute for Sammy Clingan against Montenegro in August.
