Sky Blues still face a massive task
Saturday's excellent 3-1 victory against promotion-chasing Middlesbrough made it three home league wins on the bounce for Coventry City and Sky Blues supporters now have to hope that the arrival of Alex Nimely and Herman Hreidarsson can galvanise the side to improve on their dreadful away record.
On Vital Coventry a couple of weeks ago we looked at the run of form needed to stay in the Championship, in away daze, which was followed shortly after by a familiar tale of good performance, bad result at Derby.
This week's edition of the Racing & Football Outlook newspaper contains an interesting article by their ratings expert Alex Deacon, whose figures give a cold, hard figure for the task ahead.
He gives City an 86% chance of being in League One next season with a forecast points total of 43/44 leaving them still well adrift of safety, with even a 'normal' away record between now and the end of the season not being enough.
