Jutkiewicz set for Sky Blues exit

As reported in todays Coventry Evening Telegraph, Middlesbrough have come back with an increased offer for Lukas Jutkiewicz and it appears he is on his way to the Riverside.

City resisted Boro`s advances in the summer but it is believed they are now ready to cash in on the £2million-plus rated centre-forward who is in his second year of a three-year contract with the club.

City chiefs are determined that he`s going nowhere until they can get at least one replacement in on loan to ensure that Andy Thorn is not left short.

That player is understood to be Manchester City's highly rated striker Alex Nimely who is set to join the Ricoh Arena from Monday, subject to completing the relevant paperwork today.

Nimely has pace and is an England Under-20 forward who has just returned from a three-month loan spell with Middlesbrough. He made ten appearances there and could make his debut against Tony Mowbray`s men who are the visitors to the Ricoh Arena a week on Saturday.

Well Nimely sounds promising but playing him alongside Jutkiewicz would have been nice. Will we use the funds to bring in two or three more?
