City's plight begins to attract attention

Coventry City's position at the foot of the Championship and well adrift of their nearest rivals is beginning to be noticed by more than just Sky Blues supporters and the local media.

Following on from Neil Moxley's piece for the Daily Mail last week, which can be read by clicking here, The Guardian also picks up on the club's plight in its match report from the weekend defeat at Peterborough.

Whether the increased publicity that unfortunately comes with being the worst side in the league will help or hinder remains to be seen as the Sky Blues' struggle goes on.

One piece of rare good news however was Monday's win for the City youngsters in their re-arranged FA Youth Cup game at Bristol Rovers.

Blackburn await in the next round.
