'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Coventry City latest

Getting to the Ricoh Arena may become easier from 2013 onwards after the NUCKLE scheme - to improve passenger train services between Coventry and Nuneaton - was given the green light by the Government.

The scheme will involve a new station being built at the stadium.

Increased public transport options may not be needed for the upcoming FA Cup game against Southampton however with some fans calling for a boycott of the game in protest against owners SISU.

Protest organiser Andy Armit told the Coventry Telegraph: 'There's no point giving them (Sisu) any of our money.

'Just look at our league position. That money will not be invested in the team but will just go towards paying off Sisu's debts.'

City's youngsters will try to play their FA Youth Cup game against Bristol City on Monday 19th December after the tie was washed out earlier this week.

On the injury front, Cody McDonald will miss Saturday's trip to Peterborough but Chris Hussey should be fit.
