'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rampant Lions next for Sky Blues

It's Millwall versus Coventry City this Tuesday evening in the Championship and the home side will be in good spirits following two superb victories which have pushed them up the table following a slow start.

Last Saturday's 3-0 win at Leicester was followed by a 4-1 thumping of Ipswich at the weekend.

'The table is still tight points-wise so hopefully this little run will give the boys confidence,' said manager Kenny Jackett.

'We want to continue playing well, scoring goals and pushing up the table.

'The players are a determined bunch and don't want to be down the bottom of the league. There are no poor teams in the Championship so you have to be on your game to get a result.'

Andy Thorn meanwhile is set to field his most experienced line up of the season with James McPake and Richard Wood set to start in defence. He told the CT: "We have to stay positive, go down there and roll our sleeves up, be big and strong and have a proper go - we need a man`s performance."
