'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Sammy's goal a stunner'

Although disappointed that his team did not break their winless streak away from home, Sky Blues manager Andy Thorn was in upbeat mood after the draw with Doncaster Rovers. Thorn said: 'Sammy's goal was worthy of winning any game. I'll take the point but I'm disappointed it wasn't three.

'We had a lot of possession and missed three great chances at the end. If we had picked the right pass each time we would have come away winning the game.'

'It was a poor goal to give away from our point of view.

'But we kept going for it at the end and that was pleasing. Unfortunately it just wasn't to be.'

The Sky Blues now have a couple of days to re-group and prepare for a difficult game at Millwall on Tuesday night followed by a run of three home games against current league leaders Southampton followed by West Ham United and Cardiff City.

With Millwall in form and then three really tough home games we could be in real trouble by December. Let's hope not.
