'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's the Sky Blues turn for a late show!

After some last-gasp heartbreak of their own this season it was Coventry City's turn for some stoppage time joy on Tuesday night.

Trailing to O'Dea's 26th minute goal at Elland Road, the Sky Blues levelled things up thanks to Richard Wood's goal in the 3rd minute of injury time.

An excellent away point to add to Saturday's win over Nottingham Forest keeps City's heads above water in the Championship ahead of their return home to face Burnley at the weekend.

Match Reaction

Andy Thorn: "We know we could have passed the ball a lot better in the first half but in the second half I was really impressed with our performance.

"It's what we've tried to install in the players for how we want to play the game and I was pleased with that.

"I thought we deserved the draw."

Leeds goalscorer Darren O'Dea: "We'll look back and think it is two points dropped but we've come back and scored very late goals this season and it's just the roles reversed now.

"When we calm down a bit we will realise that we're unbeaten in six, defending better as a team and scoring goals."
