'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Players give total commitment

It speaks volumes for Andy Thorns' leadership qualities with the magnificent effort shown by all the players in yesterdays deserved win over Nottingham Forest at the Ricoh. The players were out on their feet at the final whistle and the fans responded as one to the players.

Sammy Clingan spoke after the game about how the players gave their all and were prepared to run through brick walls for each other which was really appreciated by the City fans who stayed after the final whistle to show their support.

The Sky Blues now prepare for Tuesday nights trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United with their confidence improved after the victory over Forest.

The Tuesday night game also carries the sub plot of who actually owns both clubs after the BBC and The Guardian have investigated the structures of each club. Wouldn't it be good if just for once the supporters of each club could see total honesty from their respective Directors?
