Indian star enjoys Sky Blue experience

Indian international defender Anwar Ali was given the chance to join Coventry City for their pre-season preparations and despite their current woes the Sky Blues experience was a hugely positive one.

'They use modern training methods and their head coach treated me like any other player,' the 26-year-old told Goal.com.

'So I got to learn a lot and I am sure it would help me in future.'

Currently with the Mohun Bagan club, Ali is keen to return to the Ricoh Arena next summer after visa problems cut short his time with the club.

"It was an experience of a lifetime for me as I got to train with so many quality players,' he added.
