Carsley coaching at City

Lee Carsley will be staying at Coventry City after the end of his playing career having accepted an offer to become the club's new under-18 coach.

'I couldn't think of a better place to learn my trade,' he told the official club website.

In other news Marlon King may miss a fractious reunion with his former club in the second week of the season, having sustained an injury during Birmingham City's pre-season.

The striker is expected to be out of action for some time.

Former Sky TV presenter Richard Keys has added his weight to Gary Hoffman's potential takeover of the club, telling the Coventry Telegraph that the investors involved are '110 per cent serious'.
