City boss pleased

City boss pleased

Speaking after the win at Hinckley to the Sky Blue Player Andy Thorn felt that progress was being made in the run up to the Leicester City game on August 6.

'I was pleased with the boys. They are embracing what we are trying to do and it was nice to get goals, but we need to get our fitness up to the right level.

'All the boys got 45 minutes tonight which is important and I was particularly pleased with the young players in the second half and the way they went about their business.

City now prepare for a trip to Kettering Town this coming Saturday.

In other Sky Blue news, the man who came up with that very nickname when working for the Evening Telegraph, Derek Henderson, has died aged 81.
