Sky Blues underway

After the negativity surrounding the club since the Marlon King fiasco, it was good to get back to the playing side with City's first pre-season game of the new season.

Fielding a total of 22 players, but with Jordan Clarke absent, it was forgotten striker Roy O'Donovan who bagged a pair in the second half on 66 and 88 minutes. Nuneaton had taken the lead on 29 minutes through Lee Smith and equalised on 90 minutes through Danny Glover.

The Sky Blues continue their build up with a visit on Wednesday July 20 to Hinckley followed on July 23 at Kettering.

The attendance at Liberty Way today was 1440 with approx 450 City fans.
