Jutkiewicz rumours persist

Coventry City striker Lukas Jutkiewicz is being linked with Southampton by reports on Thursday night as rumours persist about his future at the Ricoh Arena.

The former Everton man made a big impression in his first season with the Sky Blues thanks to consistently wholehearted performances and despite a slightly disappointing goals haul.

Southampton, Millwall and Bristol City were all linked with the player earlier in the summer, prompting Andy Thorn to issue a hands-off warning, saying at the time: 'After what`s gone on this summer he is going to be my No.9 next year.

"We are expecting a big season for him next year and we think there is no end to what he can go on to.'
