The Sky Blues will visit newly promoted Bury in the draw just made for the Carling Cup.

Bury made a late run last season and clinched promotion from League 2 to League 1.

Ties are due to take place week commencing August 8th and Andy Thorn is vowing to take the competition seriously, telling the official City website that every single match is important to him as he looks to build a winning team at the Ricoh Arena.

***Update***The match has been confirmed for Tuesday August 9th at 7:45pm with tickets priced at £10 and £5 for concessions. City fans will occupy the South Stand.
