City lose out at 'Boro

Coventry City suffered another pre-season reverse on Thursday evening when they lost 3-2 to Conference North side Nuneaton Borough.

Don Hutchison and Dele Adebola had put the Sky Blues 2-0 up before a fightback by 'Boro saw them score three times against what was a fairly strong City side, containing new signings Mikkel Bischoff, Elliott Ward and Jay Tabb.

Trialist Jaroslav Drobny played in goal but failed to impress. The 26-year-old Czech joined Fulham last summer but did not make an appearance for the West London side.

If that is what happens when a fairly strong City side is put out then what will be the story this season when a few knocks and bumps have players sitting out for a game or three?
