City transfers: Thorn to watch Sunday on Tuesday!
Andy Thorn showed that he had a wide range of contacts and knowledge of the football scene outside of England when chief scout of the Sky Blues and will put that to good use this week when taking in a Spanish second division game between CD Numancia and Girona on Tuesday.
His target is Nigerian international midfielder Stephen Sunday, a Valencia player currently on the books of Numancia.
22-year-old Sunday has twice before come close to a move to England, with Portsmouth in 2009 and Blackpool last summer.
