The rumour mill is kicking firmly into gear in the Championship as teams begin shaping their plans for the 2011/12 campaign and Vital Coventry rounds up the latest rumours across the division.

Coventry City The Sky Blues are biding their time in the market as Marlon King, Keiren Westwood and Aron Gunnarsson weigh up new contract offers. Westwood looks certain to say 'thanks but no thanks' and has been linked with Everton, Sunderland and Leicester. Scunthorpe custodian Joe Murphy, also a free agent this summer, looks like a ready-made replacement.

Crystal Palace Although former loanee James Vaughan has opted for a move to Premier League newcomers Norwich City, Palace have sealed a deal for striker Glenn Murray of Brighton and are also confident of signing free agent Dundee United winger Craig Conway. Three other Scots including Hibs forward Derek Riordan are also interesting the Eagles.

Derby County Rams boss Nigel Clough is set to return to his former club Burton Albion to sign goalkeeper Adam Legzdins, the Brewers player of the season in 2010/11. Striker Chris Maguire is also on his way to Pride Park for a compensation fee of around £400,000 with Aberdeen while Nottingham Forest forward Nathan Tyson remains on Clough's radar.

Doncaster Rovers Crystal Palace winger Kieran Djilali is interesting both Doncaster and their South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley are turning down a new contract at Selhurst Park. MK Dons defender Danny Woodards is also being linked with a switch to the Keepmoat Stadium when he becomes a free agent this summer.
