Championship: transfer latest (1)

The rumour mill is kicking firmly into gear in the Championship as teams begin shaping their plans for the 2011/12 campaign and Vital Coventry rounds up the latest rumours across the division.

Barnsley: Currently searching for a new manager and having been knocked back in approaches for Keith Hill of Rochdale and Russell Slade of Leyton Orient, the Tykes are being linked with Crystal Palace youngster Kieran Djilali as he looks to move away from Selhurst Park this summer.

Bristol City: Having allowed striker John Akinde to join league newcomers Crawley Town, Ashton Gate boss Keith Millen is poised to snap up winger Yannick Bolasie. Cash-strapped Plymouth Argyle have accepted an offer for the 22-year-old.

Burnley: Preparing his side for a promotion push next season, Clarets manager Eddie Howe has made it clear that striker Jay Rodriguez is not for sale. Newly-promoted QPR are thought to want the England under-21 man but will be 'told to go away' according to Howe.

Cardiff City: It's all about who's leaving South Wales after Cardiff's play-off failure. Manager Dave Jones' future remains unclear amid talk of interest from West Ham, striker Michael Chopra is being linked with a move to Ipswich Town while former Sky Blues man Jay Bothroyd is looking for a new club after the expiry of his Bluebirds contract.

Ipswich seem to have a bit of money to spend on a striker. They made a big bid for Billy Sharp as well
