Beginning of change for Sky Blues

Now the 2010/2011 season has finished we look and listen for the movement of players in and out of the Sky Blues.

Discussions appear to be under way at Sunderland with the Black Cats keen to sign out of contract Keiren Westwood to help with their goal keeping problems surrounding Craig Gordon.

Coventry City are continually linked with 29 year old keeper Joe Murphy who is available on a free transfer after Scunthorpe United's relegation from the Champaionship. It must be difficult for Andy Thorn to move for replacement players until those made offers decide on their futures.

The Sky Blues currently have two young keepers on their books, Danny Ireland and Lee Burge after deciding to release Coventry born Michael Quirke at the end of last season.

Interesting times ahead over the next few weeks.
