Can King inspire City's other strikers?

Lukas Jutkiewicz is keen to make an even bigger impact at Coventry City next season after a debut campaign in which he sometimes struggled for goals but made a big impression with his selfless performances and 100% effort for the Sky Blues.

Marlon King's future may still be up in the air but whatever the outcome of his contract talks the striker could still leave a legacy at the club in the shape of his felloe frontmen, who hopefully will have learned plenty from a player with Premier League quality.

Freddy Eastwood has already been challenged to step up to the plate by manager Andy Thorn, Gary McSheffrey is keen to show that he can perform as a central striker and Jutkiewicz too wants to bag some of the headlines.

"I finished with nine goals which isn`t bad but it is not something I am absolutely delighted with,' he told the Coventry Telegraph.

'I didn`t really set out with a specific target and I am happy with nine but I want to improve upon it because I am never entirely satisfied.'
