City fight back

Fielding an unchanged side from last weeks' last home game with Reading, the Sky Blues more than matched their Premier League bound rivals in a thrilling 2-2 last game of the season.

Taking the lead on 54 minutes through ever present Richard Keogh, City went behind to goals from Holt and Pacheco in a six minute period. In the past a City side would not have come back from that deficit but not this one, Lukas Jutkiewicz netting his 9th league goal of the season on 64 minutes.

To show the attacking intent of this team the Sky Blues had 19 attempts on/off target which speaks for itself how Andy Thorns' team has played.

Since Andy Thorn took over on March 14 his reshaped side has had three wins, 5 draws and two defeats which if carried into a full season would give the side between 73 and 75 points, play off material. One final City bonus was the appearance of Gary Deegan on 76 minutes as substitute for Carl Baker. This was Deegans' first game this season after a serious injury.

A very positive end to the 2010/2011 season which we all hope will now carry on from August and maybe we will reach 10,000 season ticket sales, which would be a great boost for everyone connected with the City and the Club.
