Coventry City latest

Coventry City will travel to face Hinckley Town, Kettering Town and Chesterfield in pre-season after announcing the first three friendly fixtures they will play under Andy Thorn in preparation for the 2011/12 campaign.

Midfield starlet Conor Thomas is back at the club with Liverpool having decided not to exercise their option to buy the player on a permanent deal in the summer. Thomas made a loan move to Anfield in January in a deal which brought criticism for the Sky Blues hierarchy.

Marlon King's six goals in April have seen him nominated for the npower Championship player of the month. The striker is also said to be very happy with the contract offer on the table at the Ricoh Arena.
