Can City make it to 60?

Coventry City are set for their best points haul since 2005/06 after the recent revival inspired by caretaker manager Andy Thorn took them onto 52 for the season with 5 games left to play.

Chris Coleman's two full seasons in charge ended with almost identical records as the Sky Blues managed 54 points in both 2008/09 and 2009/10, both times after dismal finishes which saw his side barely win a game in March and April of either year.

Coleman was also manager at the end of the 2007/08 campaign having succeeded Iain Dowie in the new year. A last-gasp escape from the drop left his side with 53 points, three less than the previous season which had finished with Dowie in charge.

City's best year at the Ricoh Arena to date has easily been their first when Micky Adams' side ended on 63 points having scored 62 goals in a season that looks better and better as the years roll by.
