Blades striker the latest linked

Coventry City are set to make a move for Geoff Horsfield according to tabloid reports on Friday morning.

The 32-year-old joined Sheffield United late last season but played only three times for the Blades amid reports of a fall-out with manager Neil Warnock.

The ex-Birmingham and West Brom man does have a decent goalscoring record at Championship level and Coventry boss Micky Adams is still looking for another striker, after missing out on Francis Jeffers recently.

Defender Andy Whing is being linked with a move to Millwall, where former team-mate Richard Shaw is now reserve team boss.

Could do a job for a season or two though. I hope Whingy doesn't leave.

The horse is not the answer, If they are seriously looking for a new striker they need to be looking at a youngster who will compliment what we have got already
