'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Another busy week ahead for City

Coventry City's off-field soap opera will take another few twists and turns this week as club owners SISU issue another statement on Monday regarding their long-term plans and intentions for the financially stricken club.

After a dramatic fourteen days in which the Sky Blues have parted company with yet another manager and seemingly also a chairman, as well as being hit with a transfer embargo, few could predict what will happen next with any certainty.

Amidst all of the confusion, caretaker manager Andy Thorn and those of his players who are not on the treatment table are tasked with keeping City in the Championship for another season.

Watford are the visitors to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, a ground where they won 4-0 in the final game of last season to signal the end of Chris Coleman's time in charge.

***Update***Ray Ranson's move from being chairman to 'football consultant' has been confirmed while his former deputy Gary Hoffman has told the Coventry Telegraph that he is talking to potential investors and that Coventry City remains an attractive proposition for plenty of people despite their current woes.
