Tabb on mark as City lose on pens

New signing Jay Tabb took just ten minutes to open his account for Coventry City as they lost 4-3 on penalties to the Portland Timbers in their first pre-season game.

Tabb's goal was cancelled out by Hugo Cuellar as the game finished 1-1 at the end of normal time.

Kevin Thornton was sent off for City, who started the game with three of their new signings, Tabb, Andy Marshall and Mikkel Bischoff.
