Coventry City latest

With a win under their belts on Saturday and a free weekend coming up it has been a quiet week on the Coventry City front as Aidy Boothroyd looks for some of his walking wounded to rejoin the squad and give him a selection headache for the visit of Swansea City on Tuesday night.

Young forward Shaun Jeffers has joined Cambridge United of the Blue Square Premier on loan after ending his spell with Cheltenham.

Movement through the Ricoh Arena entrance door is unlikely however as key players Ben Turner, Lee Carsley and Sammy Clingan become available once again.

Boothroyd will be able to watch all four of City's upcoming opponents as he takes in Leicester's game against Bristol City on Friday night and Doncaster's trip to Swansea on Saturday.

Away from first-team matters the big news of the week has been the announcement of the Olympic Games football matches that will be played at a renamed City of Coventry Stadium in 2012, 12 fixtures in total including a women's bronze medal match.
