Championship: Swans look to 'winnable' games

Coventry City's next opponents in the Championship are a Swansea City side with their eyes firmly fixed on the Premier League next season.

Consistent performers in the division over the past couple of seasons under Roberto Martinez and then Paulo Sousa, little has changed for the Swans since Brendan Rodgers arrived at the club in the summer.

Saturday's win at Middlesbrough kept them firmly in the hunt following the disappointment of defeat against bitter rivals Cardiff City and matchwinner Craig Beattie is in upbeat mood.

'We have bounced back really well and we can kick on from here now,' he said.

'We have got some winnable games coming up and we are a good side teams are not happy coming to face us these days.

'We are improving all the time, we are progressing. We finished eighth in the first season in the Championship and then seventh, and this season we have been between second and fifth all along.

'I know for a fact that teams don't look forward to the Swansea fixture now and we have to keep that going.'
