The Sky Blue Year: October

The Sky Blue Year: October

Ten points from a possible fifteen came Coventry City's way in October as the Sky Blues began to show that they were responding well to Aidy Boothroyd's managerial methods.

The only defeat from five games came rather unluckily at home to Cardiff while elsewhere Barnsley were seen off at the Ricoh Arena and two wins and a draw came from away games against Sheffield United, Ipswich Town and Hull City respectively.

"Coventry are one of the biggest teams in the division and I thought they bullied us,' said Barnsley manager Mark Robins after his side's trip to CV6.

'It`s difficult trying to find positives when you have been beaten 3-0 again."
