'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jorgensen not giving up yet

Claus Jorgensen is to report back for pre-season training with Coventry City this week knowing that his future at the club remains uncertain.

The midfielder has a year left on his contract but has been told he can leave by manager Micky Adams.

'I will be back at Ryton,' said the Faeroe Island international, 'and ready to fight for my place unless my situation changes.

'I have been in contact with a couple of clubs but things are pretty slow at this time of the year and managers usually leave things late before making decisions on players.'

Jorgensen added: 'The fact is Coventry is my club and I want to be here, but I also have to be realistic and be prepared to move on.'

Quiz question in years to come, shame he was looked over I think he could have done a job if he was picked more regular

I agree. A popular member of the squad by all accounts and always gives 100%.

indeed. He always seemed to do well when given the chance. He was always a popular player at Bournemouth, and from what I've heard, at Cov too. Hope he finds a decent club. Luv ya Claus!
