City new-boy in confident mood

New Coventry City striker Wayne Andrews believes the Sky Blues can emulate Watford and make it into the Premiership next season.

The former Crystal Palace man told the club website: 'City have more Premiership experience than Palace, and even when I came to look around the Ricoh Arena, I was trying not to get too excited.

'But we have a good squad, and, if you look at Watford, anything is possible.'

- The Sky Blues meanwhile have been linked with a move for former Southampton forward Marian Pahars, who is a free agent after leaving St Mary's.

- City's first two home games of the season have both been moved for Sky coverage.

The clash with Sunderland will be played on Sunday August 6, with a 1.30pm kick-off.

The home game against Leicester City will now be played on Friday August 18, with a 7.45pm kick off.
