'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Frustration' the name of the game

A subdued Sky Blues manager felt that his side were the victims of two poor decisions in their loss at Cystal Palace.

Aidy Boothroyd said: 'I have had the hindsight of the video and also my gut feeling. I did not think it was a back pass and I definitely didn't think it was a penalty as contact was made outside the box.

'As their player goes to ground for the penalty he is the most surprised person in the whole of the ground that he has a penalty.

'Two huge decisions, having had the benefit of seeing them again, were simply not correct today. But what it boils down to, rather than complaining, is that we have to look at ourselves. In the first 20 minutes or so, we had enough chances to win six games and we did not take them.'

For City it has been a poor week after the positive build up to the Leeds games, so after the record league gate at the Ricoh and the positive support, it is now for the team to produce, starting with nothing less than a win next week at home to Burnley.
