For the second time in three days the Sky Blues handed soft goals to their opponents and paid the price last night with another avoidable defeat.

Aidy Boothroyd speaking after the game felt that City deserved something from the game. 'What you deserve and what you get tend to be different. We were 1-0 up and we messed up.

'After two months of the season we should take something from a game where we take the lead, but it's a few more grey hairs for me and something else to sort out. It's a tight league', he told the PA.

If the Sky Blues are to maintain the progress being made they do have to cut out the poor goals they are handing out. On Saturday all three Leeds goals were giveaways as were the two conceded last night at Forest.

City travel to London on Saturday for a visit to Crystal Palace.
