Championship: loan/transfer latest

A number of Championship sides are set to use the international break to shuffle their squads and Vital Coventry looks at the latest movements around the division.

Barnsley are keen to keep hold of loan striker Garry O'Connor, who has featured four times for the Tykes since his move from Birmingham City.

Another Premier League loanee, Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Jason Brown, is to stay another month with Leeds United.

Saturday's Sky Blues opponents Hull City are keen on a loan deal for Blackpool veteran Jason Euell according to reports.

Matt Ritchie of Portsmouth has joined Swindon Town for a second time on loan, having seen his chances in his first spell hampered by a current Coventry City player.

'Danny Ward was on fire last time I came here so I didn't get much of a chance,' said the midfielder.

Scunthorpe United meanwhile are running the rule over three trialists, including experienced midfielder Bryan Hughes.
