'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Just say sorry'

After the Sky Blues lucky win last night over Doncaster Rovers, boss Aidy Boothroyd was in reflective mood. 'We can't keep giving silly goals away. We will score but also have good defenders and should be keeping more clean sheets he told the Coventry Evening Telegraph.

'When you have games like that you just say sorry and take the points. It was a good result but not a good performance in the second-half.'

Opposite number Sean O'Driscoll was left to rue his side's missed chances to win the game and commented: 'You can't play as well as that when your performance is excellent and lose the game.'

The Sky Bues game at the Ricoh with current league leaders Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday December 28th meanwhile, has now been moved to a 12.15 kick off as the game is being shown on Sky TV.
