Bischoff on move

New Coventry City defender Mikkel Bischoff has said that there were other clubs in for him after the expiry of his Manchester City contract.

The 24-year-old signed a two-year deal on Monday to become the third new signing of the summer for boss Micky Adams.

Bischoff told the club website: 'I came here three weeks ago and spoke to the manager and he gave me a really good impression of the club.

'He took me around and talked to me about the ambitions of Coventry City and that really convinced me to join this club instead of the other ones.'

He was on loan more often than he was at home, lol. It doesn't look as if he made a lasting impression when he went on loan does it?
