Sky Blues escape with a point

Coventry City shared the spoils with Leicester at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday lunchtime but were second best for long periods of the game.

Any side managed by Paulo Sousa is likely to have the majority of play but the Foxes also enjoyed plenty of success with longer balls over the top of the home defence.

Clive Platt netted the opening goal with what turned out to be the Sky Blues' only meaningful attack of the game but struggled to make much of an impact aside from his first-half header.

That looked as though it might be enough for an unlikely three points but in the end Aidy Boothroyd may be thankful that his side took something out of the game and remain unbeaten at home.

Indeed, speaking to the official club website afterwards he said: "It is important that when you play well you win and when you don't you don't lose so that is a positive."
